Islet Group grows with SAP Business ByDesign as its future-proof platform

Islet, which was founded at the end of the 1990’s, has been growing at a rapid pace for several past years. Islet discovered that their own business needs now and in the future are aligned with SAP Business ByDesign solution capabilities. The cloud-based solution is known for its great project management capabilities, which is critical for Islet as a professional services company. SAP Business ByDesign is a suite-in-a-box solution, which is quick to implement, supports multi-company scenarios and internationalization, is always up-to-date and has vast integration possibilities. Most importantly, Islet knew that the solution would support their growth plan and provide real-time data and one source of truth to help steer the company sustainably into the future. Islet utilized its own team and expertise in the implementation of the new ERP.

With SAP Business ByDesign, Islet was able to digitalize and standardize the Finance, Project Management, Procurement, Sales, CRM, HR, Time and Resource Management processes. Solution’s embedded analytics provides the most essential operational reports in a visual form within the ERP system itself. It also has several ready-made KPI’s which give key insights from the business. Additionally, in certain reporting purposes the data from the ERP is being visualized with Microsoft Power BI.

The introduction of SAP Business ByDesign has streamlined and simplified many of Islet’s internal and customer related processes. Islet is now able to better manage its customer projects all in one place instead of having it spread out in different spread sheets, emails, and applications. This has greatly improved many aspects of everyday work, such as the availability of accurate and up-to-date data, managing project related costs, resourcing, and planning. In fact, Islet can now monitor the progress of projects and the invoicing status easily on a real-time basis and employee satisfaction related to internal processes has increased. There is also a clear benefit to managing everything in one integrated system – different processes are linked together, which means the updated info is available to all areas simultaneously.

As we continue to grow rapidly, we needed scalable future-proof solution that is always up-to-date and easy-to-use. We have gained more real-time visibility into our operations and streamlined our processes with SAP Business ByDesign. We are also able to provide better service both to our own employees as well as our customers. Moreover, we now have real–time data to support decision making – both in daily operations and on a strategic level.

One other aspect that might sometimes be overlooked or forgotten, but what is still greatly important, is the user experience.
