USER EXPE­RI­ENCE

Anoth­er cen­tral top­ic of SAP inno­va­tions is user expe­ri­ence and user jour­ney. New fea­tures sup­port­ing the user expe­ri­ence are:

• SAP Col­lab­o­ra­tion Man­ag­er sub­sti­tut­ing the chat func­tion of the ear­li­er SAP CoPilot,
• SAP Fiori Launch­pad help­ing busi­ness users to over­see, struc­ture, and orga­nize their tasks. The clas­si­cal groups were out­dat­ed, and spaces and pages have been devel­oped towards a more process-ori­ent­ed, role-based approach.
• Gen­er­al­ly Avail­able (GA) col­lab­o­ra­tion plat­form allow­ing users to share rel­e­vant busi­ness data using cards in Microsoft Teams chat with the pos­si­bil­i­ty of the recip­i­ent to edit the data direct­ly in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, or to ini­ti­ate a Teams call direct­ly from SAP S/4HANA Cloud Pub­lic Edition.

Robot­ic Process Automa­tion and Machine Learn­ing sup­port sales fore­cast­ing and finan­cial report­ing in the fol­low­ing areas while sim­pli­fy­ing and speed­ing up process­es and mit­i­gat­ing risks of pos­si­ble errors, here some examples:

• Assist­ed Sales Order Com­ple­tion in ISLM Intel­li­gent Sce­nario Life­cy­cle Man­age­ment pro­vides users rec­om­men­da­tions based on his­tor­i­cal data for input fields that are cru­cial for fur­ther pro­cess­ing. Addi­tion­al­ly, the ISLM App Intel­li­gent Sce­nar­ios Man­age­ment enables users to train the model.
• Auto­mat­ic Mate­r­i­al Inspec­tion in Cus­tomer Returns allows com­pa­nies to input the inspec­tion results even before the prod­uct is returned.
• Review Book­let Design­er for cre­at­ing cus­tomer-spe­cif­ic report­ing expe­ri­ences and enhanc­ing the adapt­abil­i­ty of the report­ing con­tent with a rich­er set of features.

INTE­GRA­TIONS

Some of the key devel­op­ments of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Pub­lic Edi­tion 2402 release’s process inte­gra­tions area include:

• Inte­grat­ed Busi­ness Plan­ning (IBP) is devel­oped for demand plan­ning and fore­cast­ing for man­u­fac­tur­ing processes.

• The new SAP Fiori App is avail­able for sup­ply chain man­age­ment to fol­low the jour­ney of a spe­cif­ic ser­i­al num­ber through relat­ed busi­ness doc­u­men­ta­tions. This increas­es trans­paren­cy of the inven­to­ry stock and improves data consistency.
• Enter­prise Con­tract Man­age­ment and Icer­tis Con­tract Intel­li­gence for sourc­ing and pro­cure­ment. It facil­i­tates buy side, sell side and con­tract­ing tasks espe­cial­ly in the source-to-con­tract processes.
• Inte­grat­ed Risk Man­age­ment in SAP Finan­cial Com­pli­ance Man­age­ment for ensur­ing full com­pli­ance with inter­nal and exter­nal regulations.

SUS­TAIN­ABIL­I­TY AND ESG COMPLIANCE

SAP S4/HANA Cloud Pub­lic Edi­tion 2402 release has improved the inte­gra­tion of SAP Sus­tain­abil­i­ty Foot­print Man­age­ment with oth­er SAP solutions:

• SAP EHS (Envi­ron­ment, Health & Safe­ty) Envi­ron­ment Man­age­ment for import­ing direct and indi­rect emis­sion data to cal­cu­late cor­po­rate and prod­uct foot­prints while ensur­ing com­pli­ance with legal and reg­u­la­to­ry stan­dards. New added fea­ture is Emis­sion Dec­la­ra­tion Enhancement.
• SAP Sus­tain­abil­i­ty Con­trol Tow­er with holis­tic ESG report­ing and steer­ing, pro­vides a cen­tral­ized plat­form for com­pre­hen­sive sus­tain­abil­i­ty management.
• SAP Sus­tain­abil­i­ty Data Exchange to import sup­pli­er-spe­cif­ic prod­uct footprints.
• Inte­grat­ed Finan­cial Plan­ning with SAP Ana­lyt­ics Cloud to man­age the envi­ron­men­tal foot­print along­side eco­nom­ic sus­tain­abil­i­ty goals. It allows to cre­ate envi­ron­men­tal­ly respon­si­ble strate­gies and, at the same time, iden­ti­fies finan­cial risks and costs.
