Islet expands — new office in Joensuu

Islet Group now wel­comes cus­tomers, part­ners and Islet­ters to new premis­es in Joen­suu. The new office space is locat­ed in Joensuu’s Tiedepuis­to. Our team of more than 80 Islet­ters con­tin­ues to grow now also in East­ern Fin­land, as the doors of our office in Joen­suu are open!

Islet has con­tin­ued its strong growth also this year, as a result of which it’s time to expand in East­ern Fin­land. The doors of our Joen­suu office have been opened on 1st of Novem­ber 2022. With the new office, the aim is to grow the team in East­ern Fin­land by 5 – 10 per­sons over the next year, and to serve cus­tomers and part­ners even bet­ter locally.

Thanks to Islet’s strong growth, it is great to be able to expand our oper­a­tions to East­ern Fin­land as well. Our aim is to fur­ther devel­op our busi­ness and enable bet­ter work­spaces for both cur­rent and future Islet­ters. Islet­ters can already be found in 20 dif­fer­ent loca­tions around Fin­land and Europe. Even though we work well remote­ly from any­where, with new office we strive to boost our island’s mul­ti-tal­ent pool in East­ern Fin­land. The new office pro­vides even bet­ter oppor­tu­ni­ties for dif­fer­ent forms of hybrid work.

Strong growth continues

The Joen­suu office was estab­lished along­side Islet’s cur­rent offices in Espoo, Oulu and Budapest. With the new loca­tion, local cus­tomers and part­ners can be served even bet­ter. Locat­ed in the cen­ter of Joen­suu, Tiedepuis­to is already home to more than 130 com­pa­nies oper­at­ing in a wide vari­ety of indus­tries. The com­pa­nies’ near­ly 2500 employ­ees form an active com­mu­ni­ty of busi­ness­peo­ple, stu­dents and vis­i­tors. Tiedepuisto’s high-qual­i­ty premis­es fol­low the Green Sci­ence Park oper­at­ing mod­el, so envi­ron­men­tal respon­si­bil­i­ty is present there in many ways.

With the new office, our cus­tomers will be able to make even bet­ter use of our exten­sive exper­tise in the field of data and ana­lyt­ics, ERP solu­tions, dig­i­tal­iza­tion of pro­cure­ment and inte­gra­tion solutions.

Look­ing for new Isletters 

More than 30 new Islet­ters have land­ed on the island this year and growth is expect­ed to con­tin­ue next year as well. Islet is cur­rent­ly recruit­ing data engi­neers, data archi­tects, Pow­er Plat­form experts, inte­gra­tion archi­tects, and finance and logis­tics experts, among others.

We are con­stant­ly look­ing for gen­uine and easy­go­ing new Islet­ters to join our team.
