Finnlamel­li chose Islet Group and SAP Busi­ness ByDesign

Finnlamel­li, part of the Finnish DEN Group, is a builder and sup­pli­er of turn-key eco­log­i­cal log build­ings and hous­es. DEN Group has a long-term growth strat­e­gy, and they seek growth also from inter­na­tion­al mar­kets. To sup­port their plans, they start­ed to look for a com­pre­hen­sive, con­tin­u­ous­ly devel­op­ing and scal­able ERP solu­tion for Finnlamel­li. After care­ful map­ping of the choic­es and famil­iar­iza­tion with the dif­fer­ent solu­tions, they chose the cloud-based SAP Busi­ness ByDe­sign as the back­bone of their oper­a­tions. Islet Group was cho­sen as the part­ner to deliv­er the trans­for­ma­tion project revolv­ing the mod­ern tech­nol­o­gy solution.

The solu­tion for Finnlamel­li with­in SAP Busi­ness ByDesing cov­ers finan­cial inte­gra­tions, pro­cure­ment, sales, pro­duc­tion, ware­house, and ser­vice busi­ness areas plus the relat­ed HR func­tions. The solu­tion also pro­vides embed­ded report­ing and ana­lyt­ics capa­bil­i­ties to ease the oper­a­tive report­ing and data-dri­ven deci­sion making.
