Mika Pohjo­la has been appoint­ed as Busi­ness Direc­tor for Data, Ana­lyt­ics & AI. He brings with him a wealth of expe­ri­ence in data-dri­ven busi­ness devel­op­ment and sales.

Mika brings exten­sive know-how in uti­liz­ing data and AI at the core of busi­ness oper­a­tions. It’s great to have some­one with his back­ground and dri­ve join us to devel­op this strate­gi­cal­ly impor­tant area.

Mika began his career in IT in the mid-1990s, ini­tial­ly work­ing in pro­duc­tion and soft­ware devel­op­ment. In the ear­ly 2000s, he tran­si­tioned into tech­nol­o­gy and engi­neer­ing lead­er­ship roles with­in an inter­na­tion­al con­text, gain­ing expe­ri­ence in glob­al busi­ness development.

In recent years, Mika has focused on the com­mer­cial devel­op­ment, sales, and lead­er­ship of data & AI and cloud-based solu­tions in both domes­tic and inter­na­tion­al set­tings. He has a strong vision of how data and ana­lyt­ics can be used to cre­ate real busi­ness val­ue across industries.

I’m excit­ed to join a growth-ori­ent­ed, sus­tain­able com­pa­ny like Islet, which is tru­ly invest­ing as pio­neer in data, ana­lyt­ics, and AI to devel­op our cus­tomers’ busi­ness. I look for­ward to work­ing with a tal­ent­ed team and build­ing impact­ful solu­tions for our clients, Red has always been my favourite colour and I am proud to start wear­ing the Islet red beanie.
