Joule: Expanding the Power of AI

SAP’s AI assistant, Joule, received major upgrades.

Proactive Intelligence: Joule now delivers recommendations and automates tasks based on user behavior and data analysis.
Compliance Monitoring: Joule tracks regulatory changes (e.g., trade rules) and flags affected products or processes
Strategic Forecasting: Joule offers operational impact forecasts and decision support across business areas, from supply chain management to workforce planning.
Wider Integration: Joule now works across SAP and non-SAP platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), greatly expanding its utility.
By the Numbers: Joule currently supports 1,600 skills and 230+ AI scenarios, with a target of 400+ scenarios by the end of 2025.

SAP Business Data Cloud: Unified Intelligence

In collaboration with Databricks, SAP introduced new intelligent applications that bring together data from both SAP and non-SAP sources:

Cloud ERP Intelligence empowers Cloud ERP Private Edition customers with data products, AI, and business simulations across finance, supply chain, HR, and sustainability.
People Intelligence: Uses SAP SuccessFactors data to generate AI-driven insights into employee skills and workforce trends.

WalkMe Integration: Already available in core SAP applications (e.g., SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur) and coming to Public and Private Cloud ERP by the end of the year 2025.
