Pro­d­ual trans­forms busi­ness oper­a­tions with SAP Cloud ERP

In a strate­gic move to enhance its oper­a­tional effi­cien­cy and stream­line busi­ness process­es, Pro­d­ual, a lead­ing Finnish build­ing automa­tion tech­nol­o­gy com­pa­ny, has suc­cess­ful­ly imple­ment­ed SAP Cloud ERP, a com­pre­hen­sive cloud-based ERP solu­tion. The deci­sion to adopt SAP aims to fuel Pro­d­u­al’s growth ambi­tions and facil­i­tate its expan­sion into new markets.

Pro­d­ual, known for its inno­v­a­tive mea­sure­ment and con­trol devices for the build­ing automa­tion indus­try, rec­og­nized the need for a scal­able and inte­grat­ed ERP sys­tem to sup­port its evolv­ing busi­ness demands. With the objec­tive of achiev­ing end-to-end vis­i­bil­i­ty across its oper­a­tions, the com­pa­ny col­lab­o­rat­ed with Islet Group, a lead­ing SAP cloud-ERP imple­men­ta­tion part­ner, to exe­cute the project.

Antti Kor­te­lahti, CIO of Pro­d­ual, high­light­ed the sig­nif­i­cance of part­ner­ing with Islet Group for the imple­men­ta­tion process, say­ing, “The har­mo­niza­tion of our sev­er­al ERP sys­tems was the main rea­son for the project to achieve the busi­ness ben­e­fits men­tioned by Anna. The sol­id ground­work laid togeth­er with Islet Group in phase 1 (oper­a­tions in Kotka/​Finland, Den­mark, Poland, Spain and Italy), enabled the phase 2 go-live in Muurame/​Finland and UK loca­tions to be car­ried out most­ly with our own resources, in record time and at min­i­mal cost. The plan is to car­ry out the roll­outs in France and Swe­den dur­ing the ear­ly part of 2025, after which the entire Pro­d­ual Group will oper­ate on the same ERP platform.”

The new SAP solu­tion enables Pro­d­ual to con­sol­i­date and inte­grate its key busi­ness func­tions, includ­ing finance, sales, pro­cure­ment, CRM, ware­hous­ing and man­u­fac­tur­ing, into a sin­gle cloud-based plat­form. The solu­tion’s user-friend­ly inter­face and exten­sive report­ing capa­bil­i­ties empow­er Pro­d­u­al’s employ­ees with real-time data insights, fos­ter­ing bet­ter deci­sion-mak­ing at all lev­els of the organization.

In addi­tion to its core func­tion­al­i­ties, SAP Cloud ERP offers Pro­d­ual the flex­i­bil­i­ty to scale its oper­a­tions rapid­ly, adapt to evolv­ing mar­ket demands, and expand into new geo­graph­i­cal regions seam­less­ly. The cloud-based nature of the solu­tion ensures acces­si­bil­i­ty from any­where, enabling Pro­d­u­al’s employ­ees to work remote­ly while main­tain­ing opti­mal productivity.
