Islet sup­ports Trans­meri in achiev­ing its sus­tain­abil­i­ty goals

Islet Group is proud to sup­port Trans­meri Group in their jour­ney towards greater sus­tain­abil­i­ty. Our most recent col­lab­o­ra­tion focused on enhanc­ing Trans­mer­i’s sup­pli­er com­pli­ance process­es by extend­ing their sup­pli­er data main­te­nance in ERP to ensure that all sup­pli­ers have com­plet­ed the Sup­pli­er Code of Con­duct (SCoC).

Transmeri’s sup­pli­er mas­ter data in SAP S/4HANA was enhanced with new fields. The project aimed to improve the mon­i­tor­ing and enforce­ment of eth­i­cal and sus­tain­able prac­tices among Transmeri’s sup­pli­ers, there­by increas­ing over­all sup­ply chain trans­paren­cy and sus­tain­abil­i­ty. It also served as a proof of con­cept for the new exten­si­bil­i­ty frame­work in SAP Fiori, which enables the busi­ness users to eas­i­ly cre­ate new fields and acti­vate them in the required busi­ness appli­ca­tions, with­out any pro­gram­ming. In the future, this will great­ly reduce the work­load required to imple­ment new fields in the busi­ness applications. 

The project with Trans­meri is an exam­ple of how Islet’s exper­tise in process­es, tech­nol­o­gy and sus­tain­abil­i­ty can dri­ve mean­ing­ful progress. By imple­ment­ing the SCoC indi­ca­tor, Trans­meri can now bet­ter ensure that their sup­pli­ers meet the high stan­dards of eth­i­cal con­duct and sus­tain­abil­i­ty, con­tribut­ing pos­i­tive­ly to their over­all envi­ron­men­tal and social impact.

Islet Group has recent­ly launched the Islet Green Inno­va­tion Fund, to accel­er­ate green tran­si­tion, advance its cus­tomers’ sus­tain­abil­i­ty goals and to use tech for good. The col­lab­o­ra­tion with Trans­meri was part­ly financed through the fund. Green Inno­va­tion Fund is designed to cat­alyze envi­ron­men­tal progress by co-fund­ing inno­v­a­tive projects with our cus­tomers. While the fund played a sup­port­ive role in this project, its pri­ma­ry focus remains on the advance­ments made in sup­pli­er com­pli­ance and sus­tain­abil­i­ty practices.
