Changes in Islet’s Advi­so­ry Board

There have been changes in Islet Group’s Advi­so­ry Board since Sep­tem­ber 2024, when Pasi Rinne and Rash­mi Kasat-Majako­r­pi joined as new mem­bers. Islet’s Advi­so­ry Board, which start­ed in 2020, has so far includ­ed Ossi Pohjo­la and Juk­ka Havia. Ossi Pohjo­la will con­tin­ue in his posi­tion. Juk­ka Havia will leave his posi­tion on the Advi­so­ry Board but will con­tin­ue as a per­son­al men­tor to Islet’s CEO Jan­i­na Luoto. 

For 30 years, Pasi Rinne has worked with com­pa­nies, gov­ern­ments, the UN and NGOs for a clean­er, safer and more pros­per­ous world. He is the founder of Gaia Con­sult­ing, a pio­neer in the Finnish sus­tain­abil­i­ty con­sult­ing indus­try, which he sold togeth­er with his part­ners to Swe­co three years ago. He cur­rent­ly holds advi­so­ry posi­tions at Nordic Green Bank, Man­da­tum’s pri­vate equi­ty financ­ing oper­a­tions and the Growth Board of a Finnish export indus­try com­pa­ny. Rinne brings exten­sive and inter­na­tion­al advi­so­ry expe­ri­ence as well as views on sus­tain­able devel­op­ment strategies.

Rash­mi Kasat-Majako­r­pi, on the oth­er hand, brings with her 23 years of expe­ri­ence in the tech­nol­o­gy sec­tor, a com­pre­hen­sive under­stand­ing of dig­i­tal, infor­ma­tion, IoT and AI tech­nolo­gies and their appli­ca­tions in the B2B indus­try. She is known for her abil­i­ty to lead devel­op­ment teams to deliv­er tech­nol­o­gy in fast cycles and focus on what is impor­tant to key cus­tomers. She also has an exten­sive tech­nol­o­gy net­work in Europe and India and an under­stand­ing of the inter­na­tion­al market.
