There have been changes in Islet Group’s Advisory Board since September 2024, when Pasi Rinne and Rashmi Kasat-Majakorpi joined as new members. Islet’s Advisory Board, which started in 2020, has so far included Ossi Pohjola and Jukka Havia. Ossi Pohjola will continue in his position. Jukka Havia will leave his position on the Advisory Board but will continue as a personal mentor to Islet’s CEO Janina Luoto.
We are delighted and proud to welcome Pasi and Rashmi to Islet Advisory Board. They will bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion to our next phase of growth as we embark on our five-year 2030 strategy. Pasi’s long career in building sustainability and credible and concrete strategies from promises to actions, as well as Rashmi’s extensive experience in the technology sector, deep understanding of traditional industries and global markets are significant assets that will help us continue to be an innovative pioneer in our industry.
For 30 years, Pasi Rinne has worked with companies, governments, the UN and NGOs for a cleaner, safer and more prosperous world. He is the founder of Gaia Consulting, a pioneer in the Finnish sustainability consulting industry, which he sold together with his partners to Sweco three years ago. He currently holds advisory positions at Nordic Green Bank, Mandatum’s private equity financing operations and the Growth Board of a Finnish export industry company. Rinne brings extensive and international advisory experience as well as views on sustainable development strategies.
Rashmi Kasat-Majakorpi, on the other hand, brings with her 23 years of experience in the technology sector, a comprehensive understanding of digital, information, IoT and AI technologies and their applications in the B2B industry. She is known for her ability to lead development teams to deliver technology in fast cycles and focus on what is important to key customers. She also has an extensive technology network in Europe and India and an understanding of the international market.
