Up until now, my spare time has been most\u00adly spent with the hob\u00adbies of my three chil\u00addren. Now that the eldest kids are already more inde\u00adpen\u00addent, I&nbsp;have more time for my own hob\u00adbies, run\u00adning, ski\u00ading and out\u00addoor activ\u00adi\u00adties. I&nbsp;was ski\u00ading last win\u00adter almost 500&nbsp;kilometers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In what kind of orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion do you work and what is your role&nbsp;there?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00advi\u00adca Oy pro\u00advides its own\u00aders with food ser\u00advices, clean\u00ading and equip\u00adment main\u00adte\u00adnance, build\u00ading tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy and prop\u00ader\u00adty main\u00adte\u00adnance as well as logis\u00adtics ser\u00advices in health\u00adcare sec\u00adtor. We employ about 90 peo\u00adple in logis\u00adtics ser\u00advices and have a&nbsp;turnover of 20 mil\u00adlion euros. The largest unit is the cen\u00adtral ware\u00adhouse, from which we sup\u00adply mate\u00adr\u00adi\u00adal to almost all of North\u00adern Savo. The largest prod\u00aduct seg\u00adment in cen\u00adtral stock is health\u00adcare sup\u00adplies. Ser\u00advi\u00adca\u2019s logis\u00adtics also oper\u00adate with\u00adin Pohjois-Savo health\u00adcare dis\u00adtrict inter\u00adnal mate\u00adr\u00adi\u00adal and patient transportation.<\/p>\n<p>In my role as Logis\u00adtics Man\u00adag\u00ader, I&nbsp;am respon\u00adsi\u00adble for man\u00adag\u00ading the logis\u00adtics sup\u00adply chain and devel\u00adop\u00ading ware\u00adhous\u00ading and trans\u00adporta\u00adtion process\u00ades. I&nbsp;am also respon\u00adsi\u00adble for logis\u00adtics cost mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading and cus\u00adtomer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the best part of your&nbsp;work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The best thing about the job is when we are able help the client suc\u00adceed in their own field. Being able to inter\u00adact with peo\u00adple and solve com\u00admon chal\u00adlenges gives the spark. Suc\u00adcess sto\u00adries are reward\u00ading and it is also impor\u00adtant for me to move for\u00adward and devel\u00adop. I&nbsp;think that if you always play it safe, you\u2019re not brave enough. Some\u00adtimes you just have to dare, even if you don\u2019t know the next step. I&nbsp;feel like I\u2019m doing mean\u00ading\u00adful&nbsp;work.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>To which direc\u00adtion is your field developing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The munic\u00adi\u00adpal\u00adi\u00adties have the objec\u00adtive of com\u00adbin\u00ading ser\u00advices. Automa\u00adtion and robot\u00adics are seen as a&nbsp;great poten\u00adtial to our indus\u00adtry. New tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies increase safe\u00adty as well as effi\u00adcien\u00adcy. How\u00adev\u00ader, in the hos\u00adpi\u00adtal world, effi\u00adcien\u00adcy alone can\u00adnot go beyond defin\u00ading patient and infor\u00adma\u00adtion secu\u00adri\u00adty to the required lev\u00adel. It must be remem\u00adbered that in a&nbsp;hos\u00adpi\u00adtal set\u00adting, the final cus\u00adtomer is the patient.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your organization\u2019s key mes\u00adsage to its stake\u00adhold\u00aders and customers?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are a&nbsp;sup\u00adport-ser\u00advice com\u00adpa\u00adny and our mis\u00adsion is to free our cus\u00adtomers to make their own core exper\u00adtise. Our goal is that our cus\u00adtomers and own\u00aders could suc\u00adceed in their work the best pos\u00adsi\u00adble way while we are devel\u00adop\u00ading effec\u00adtive oper\u00adat\u00ading mod\u00adels. There has been a&nbsp;lot of dis\u00adcus\u00adsion about labor short\u00adages in fields that are crit\u00adi\u00adcal to soci\u00adety. With\u00adout these work\u00aders, soci\u00adety will not cope and there\u00adfore, work well-being and the devel\u00adop\u00adment of oper\u00adat\u00ading mod\u00adels and con\u00adcepts in order to keep the big pic\u00adture running.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>How does your orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion retain top tal\u00adents and what makes your orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion a&nbsp;great place to&nbsp;work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have invest\u00aded in work\u00ading meth\u00adods and tools. Engag\u00ading peo\u00adple in dif\u00adfer\u00adent ways is also a&nbsp;high pri\u00ador\u00adi\u00adty, and we strive to keep peo\u00adple moti\u00advat\u00aded and con\u00adtent. There is clear\u00adly a&nbsp;labor short\u00adage in cer\u00adtain jobs in our indus\u00adtry, which is why we need to pay extra atten\u00adtion to work sat\u00adis\u00adfac\u00adtion. We have had good job sat\u00adis\u00adfac\u00adtion results through\u00adout the orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion. We have suc\u00adceed\u00aded in cre\u00adat\u00ading com\u00adfort\u00adable work atmos\u00adphere and invest\u00ading in man\u00adage\u00adr\u00adi\u00adal work by pro\u00advid\u00ading train\u00ading and ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adtion not for\u00adget\u00adting con\u00adsis\u00adten\u00adcy in suc\u00adcess and pay\u00ading atten\u00adtion to man\u00adag\u00ader well-being.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>How would you describe the part\u00adner\u00adship with&nbsp;Islet?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have been very pleased. The coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion with Islet has been going on since 2015, dur\u00ading which we have devel\u00adoped a&nbsp;sys\u00adtem that meets our needs and suc\u00adceed\u00aded in devel\u00adop\u00ading good response times.
