\nHow can we best uti\u00adlize SAP Fiori? What Fiori appli\u00adca\u00adtions do we need and how we imple\u00adment them?<\/strong>
\nHow do busi\u00adness process KPIs look like? How can we improve them?<\/strong>
\nHow much serv\u00ader capac\u00adi\u00adty do we need in order to run SAP S\/4HANA?<\/strong><\/p>\n

These are some of the ques\u00adtions that come in mind when think\u00ading about start\u00ading SAP S\/4HANA project. The best tool for find\u00ading answers is SAP Readi\u00adness Check 2.0.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

SAP<\/strong><\/a> Readi\u00adness Check has been in use since May 2017. Two years lat\u00ader in May 2019 the new func\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adi\u00adties con\u00adtain\u00ading Readi\u00adness Check 2.0 were intro\u00adduced. The results from Readi\u00adness Check 1.0 can still be uti\u00adlized till the end of 2019, but SAP rec\u00adom\u00admends mak\u00ading a new analy\u00adsis with Readi\u00adness Check 2.0.<\/p>\n

Com\u00adpared to the first ver\u00adsion, Readi\u00adness Check 2.0 includes many new and improved analy\u00adsis tools but also dash\u00adboard look and usabil\u00adi\u00adty are improved along the design based on SAP Fiori 3.0. Readi\u00adness Check 2.0 can now be used only as an online appli\u00adca\u00adtion and it can\u2019t be down\u00adloaded yet in Word-for\u00admat report as in Readi\u00adness Check 1.0. This func\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty has been replaced with new autho\u00adriza\u00adtion con\u00adcept which brings flex\u00adi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty for result uti\u00adliza\u00adtion. The autho\u00adriza\u00adtions of each analy\u00adsis\u2019 results can be man\u00adaged in SAP Readi\u00adness Check appli\u00adca\u00adtion and S\u2011user doesn\u2019t need to be cre\u00adat\u00aded for every\u00adone who needs access to the results. This way autho\u00adriza\u00adtions lev\u00adels (read-only vs. edit\u00ading per\u00admis\u00adsions) can be eas\u00adi\u00adly managed.<\/p>\n

SAP Readi\u00adness Check 2.0 prepa\u00adra\u00adtion in ERP sys\u00adtem is exe\u00adcut\u00aded in a same way as in pre\u00advi\u00adous ver\u00adsion. The analy\u00adsis runs\u2019 end results in devel\u00adop\u00adment and pro\u00adduc\u00adtion sys\u00adtems are zip files that are uploaded to SAP Readi\u00adness Check 2.0 appli\u00adca\u00adtion. After this, the analy\u00adsis itself takes less than half an hour to com\u00adplete. If need\u00aded, the analy\u00adsis can also be updat\u00aded lat\u00ader by upload\u00ading a new zip file to the appli\u00adca\u00adtion. There\u00adfore, for exam\u00adple, Sim\u00adpli\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion Item analy\u00adsis part can be updat\u00aded while oth\u00ader parts\u2019 con\u00adtents remain the same. The dif\u00adfer\u00adence between Readi\u00adness Check 1.0 and 2.0 prepa\u00adra\u00adtions is that the new\u00ader ver\u00adsion can\u2019t be pre\u00adpared via Solu\u00adtion Manager.<\/p>\n

Sim\u00adpli\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion Item Check in new Readi\u00adness Check lists all the nec\u00ades\u00adsary actions with\u00adin each item. Those actions can also be sep\u00ada\u00adrat\u00aded to dif\u00adfer\u00adent cat\u00ade\u00adgories based on if they are manda\u00adto\u00adry, con\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal or option\u00adal. Man\u00adu\u00adal sta\u00adtus and com\u00adment field of each item help divid\u00ading work and track\u00ading progress. The items are already divid\u00aded in cat\u00ade\u00adgories accord\u00ading their rel\u00ade\u00advan\u00adcy from the cur\u00adrent ERP system\u2019s point of view. There\u00adfore, the most impor\u00adtant and urgent activ\u00adi\u00adties can be focused right from the begin\u00adning of a project.<\/p>\n

Same than in Sim\u00adpli\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion Item Check, Add-On and Busi\u00adness Func\u00adtion Check func\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adi\u00adties are also being improved in Readi\u00adness Check 2.0. Renewed cat\u00ade\u00adgo\u00adriza\u00adtion, com\u00adment field and pos\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty to man\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly add third-par\u00adty Add-On com\u00adpat\u00adi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty ease under\u00adstand\u00ading data and track the sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion. A new part in Readi\u00adness Check 2.0 analy\u00adsis, besides inte\u00adgra\u00adtion part Busi\u00adness Ware\u00adhouse Extrac\u00adtors, is iDoc inter\u00adfaces. The analy\u00adsis lists iDoc inter\u00adfaces that might cause prob\u00adlems when trans\u00adfer\u00adring to SAP S\/4HANA environment.<\/p>\n

SAP Readi\u00adness Check analy\u00adsis is a good basis for SAP Fiori<\/strong> <\/a>imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion. Readi\u00adness Check offers rec\u00adom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtions for busi\u00adness roles and Fiori appli\u00adca\u00adtions based on the analy\u00adsis of cur\u00adrent SAP ERP system\u2019s trans\u00adac\u00adtion use. If there is no pre\u00advi\u00adous Fiori imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion, the most rec\u00adom\u00admend\u00aded start approach is to exam\u00adine rec\u00adom\u00admend\u00aded Light\u00adhouse SAP Fiori appli\u00adca\u00adtions list, which con\u00adtains SAP key appli\u00adca\u00adtions. Fiori appli\u00adca\u00adtions are divid\u00aded accord\u00ading to busi\u00adness roles what helps to under\u00adstand the Fiori con\u00adcept. Those roles rec\u00adom\u00admend\u00aded by Readi\u00adness Check can be man\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly set In Scope or Out of Scope sta\u00adtus and appli\u00adca\u00adtions can be tagged as favourite what helps keep in track the selec\u00adtion of suit\u00adable Fiori applications.<\/p>\n
