Why did you go in for the renewal?<\/strong><\/p>\n The deci\u00adsion to imple\u00adment Nordic coun\u00adtries to SAP was done at cor\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adtion lev\u00adel to con\u00adsol\u00adi\u00addate oper\u00ada\u00adtions. All Nordic coun\u00adtries, Dan\u00adish, Swe\u00adden and Fin\u00adland were imple\u00adment\u00aded to SAP simul\u00adta\u00adne\u00adous\u00adly dur\u00ading 2018. SAP ware\u00adhouse man\u00adage\u00adment, pur\u00adchas\u00ading, sales and finan\u00adcial man\u00adage\u00adment were imple\u00adment\u00aded. At glob\u00adal lev\u00adel we were already using SAP and now Nordic coun\u00adtries want\u00aded to be merged into the same system.<\/p>\n What kind of new demands or chal\u00adlenges arose along the sys\u00adtem renew\u00adal? What were you sur\u00adprised at?<\/strong><\/p>\n The lack of resources was chal\u00adleng\u00ading. Germany\u2019s IT team didn\u2019t have time to think Finnish process\u00ades, make detailed def\u00adi\u00adn\u00adi\u00adtions nor help to exe\u00adcute all Finnish demands. The time and sup\u00adport had to be pri\u00ador\u00adi\u00adtized also amongst oth\u00ader Nordic coun\u00adtries. For exam\u00adple, in Den\u00admark a man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtur\u00ading plant was need\u00aded to get run\u00adning and Dan\u00adish oper\u00ada\u00adtions also went ahead of oth\u00ader countries.<\/p>\n We need\u00aded to get things going rapid\u00adly. Time con\u00adsum\u00ading new process\u00ades, imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion, old pro\u00adce\u00addures, learn\u00ading as well as how to oper\u00adate in a new sys\u00adtem com\u00adpared to the old one. It took a lot of time to get every\u00adthing to func\u00adtion and do tech\u00adni\u00adcal definitions.<\/p>\n The changes brought by this project bur\u00addened our finance team. Minor SAP know-how com\u00adpli\u00adcat\u00aded and slowed down issue solv\u00ading. Invoic\u00ading got jammed and cus\u00adtomer sat\u00adis\u00adfac\u00adtion was in dan\u00adger. Deliv\u00ader\u00adies were nor\u00admal\u00adized quite rapid\u00adly but pric\u00ading def\u00adi\u00adn\u00adi\u00adtions were miss\u00ading what caused prob\u00adlems for infor\u00adma\u00adtion valid\u00adi\u00adty in invoic\u00ading. There were also chal\u00adlenges in cred\u00adit notes and fix\u00ading cus\u00adtomer invoic\u00ades up-to-date was hard and trou\u00adble\u00adsome. Fur\u00adther\u00admore, com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion between Fin\u00adland and Ger\u00admany was already chal\u00adleng\u00ading due to SAP terminology.<\/p>\n Our orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion didn\u2019t have enough SAP know-how even though we start\u00aded recruit\u00ading new tal\u00adents already one year before the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion. There was no time to cre\u00adate new ideas or solu\u00adtions. Learn\u00ading process\u00ades took time and the uti\u00adliza\u00adtion of fea\u00adtures was threat\u00adened to remain par\u00adtial. Core busi\u00adness was in dan\u00adger, so this sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion need\u00aded to be solved rapidly.<\/p>\n How did you begin to get help with new needs?<\/strong><\/p>\n Our base\u00adline was to recruit more SAP know-how. We start\u00aded find\u00ading a new per\u00adson via recruit adver\u00adtise\u00adment. Soon we noticed it was very chal\u00adleng\u00ading to find suit\u00adable tal\u00adent this way. Islet con\u00adtact\u00aded us at that time and let us know about oth\u00ader option for our needs. At first, we thought per\u00adma\u00adnent recruit\u00ading was the only option for us. The renew\u00adal brought steadi\u00adness to our process\u00ades, moti\u00advat\u00aded our team to learn and adopt new pro\u00adce\u00addures more effi\u00adcient\u00adly and uni\u00adfied pro\u00adce\u00addures both local\u00adly and at cor\u00adpo\u00adrate level.<\/p>\n What kind of con\u00adcrete ben\u00ade\u00adfits were achieved?<\/strong><\/p>\n With the help of Islet our jammed sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion in finan\u00adcial man\u00adage\u00adment got nor\u00admal\u00adized.
