I&nbsp;am wear\u00ading a&nbsp;dress and high heels accord\u00ading to the Dark suit dress code. On the invi\u00adta\u00adtion was writ\u00adten: Wel\u00adcome to the 20th&nbsp;anniver\u00adsary cel\u00ade\u00adbra\u00adtion. Cus\u00adtomers and part\u00adners will cel\u00ade\u00adbrate togeth\u00ader with the anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>After the wel\u00adcome drink the event starts with a&nbsp;brief look at the his\u00adto\u00adry. I&nbsp;am inter\u00adest\u00aded to hear the sto\u00adry of the com\u00adpa\u00adny, but still back in my mind flash\u00ades a&nbsp;thought of a&nbsp;manda\u00adto\u00adry, per\u00adhaps even of a&nbsp;bor\u00ading part of the evening.<\/p>\n<p>But to my sur\u00adprise I&nbsp;got emo\u00adtion\u00adal when the pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion went on. I&nbsp;even want\u00aded to be iden\u00adti\u00adfied with the company.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSoon we saw in each peo\u00adple who feel good when they are being appreciated\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Instead of a&nbsp;project pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion or a&nbsp;his\u00adto\u00adry line the cur\u00adrent direc\u00adtor duo showed on the screen pic\u00adtures of peo\u00adple. Not smartened-up pho\u00adtos, but nat\u00adur\u00adal ones, the kind of pho\u00adtos you took in a&nbsp;dig\u00adi\u00adtal cam\u00adera when Face\u00adbook land\u00aded to Fin\u00adland in 2007. The peo\u00adple were intro\u00adduced with their first names. In some cas\u00ades, some back\u00adground infor\u00adma\u00adtion was giv\u00aden. Often some\u00adthing fun. Espe\u00adcial\u00adly was men\u00adtioned, if the ex-employ\u00adees or part\u00adners had also found each oth\u00ader lat\u00ader in their pri\u00advate lives. Soon we saw in each peo\u00adple with sto\u00adries and peo\u00adple who want to be appre\u00adci\u00adat\u00aded by oth\u00aders, no more just peo\u00adple dressed to the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>The lights are switched off. In around us lanterns are being car\u00adried across the room. Peo\u00adple are flood\u00ading to the room in yel\u00adlow, red and light-blue rain coats. Every\u00adbody is wear\u00ading a&nbsp;red beanie. In a&nbsp;video pro\u00adject\u00aded on the wall an all-weath\u00ader shoe steps on a&nbsp;small islet. In hand is one of the lanterns. On the islet the very same line of rain\u00adcoats with red bean\u00adies is walk\u00ading. They lean to each oth\u00ader and help each oth\u00ader to walk smooth\u00adly on the islet. Throw\u00ading one\u00adself and being togeth\u00ader. After the video the new name of the com\u00adpa\u00adny is shown: ISLET i.e. a&nbsp;small island. We han\u00addle all con\u00addi\u00adtions. That explains the rain\u00adcoats and the bean\u00adies. The sur\u00adname of the direc\u00adtor duo Luo\u00adto (islet) is no coin\u00adci\u00addence either.<\/p>\n<p>The com\u00adpa\u00adny has now a&nbsp;new brand and a&nbsp;new sto\u00adry. Most of all, they have a&nbsp;sto\u00adry, in which we all feel to be part of it and want to be part of it. Not because the sto\u00adry was good, but because we felt to be part of it and felt being appre\u00adci\u00adat\u00aded, we knew and saw these peo\u00adple the com\u00adpa\u00adny is made of. And because they are hav\u00ading fun. After a&nbsp;while a&nbsp;pho\u00adto is tak\u00aden each of us wear\u00ading a&nbsp;rain\u00adcoat and a&nbsp;beanie. In a&nbsp;com\u00adpa\u00adny par\u00adty I&nbsp;have very sel\u00addom seen sim\u00adi\u00adlar gen\u00aduine, readi\u00adness to throw in and appre\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion of togeth\u00ader\u00adness that extends to cus\u00adtomers and partners<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhat about if build\u00ading warmth is crit\u00adi\u00adcal to a&nbsp;suc\u00adcess\u00adful performance?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I feel warmth. Only, when we feel the warmth and the trust, we see com\u00adpe\u00adtence as pos\u00adi\u00adtive. Com\u00adpe\u00adtence is with\u00adout doubt impor\u00adtant, but with\u00adout warmth we can feel it as manip\u00adu\u00adla\u00adtive or unap\u00adpeal\u00ading. On a&nbsp;lone\u00adly island of com\u00adpe\u00adtence, we can\u00adnot cope, instead, just like ISLET we need a&nbsp;team and a&nbsp;spir\u00adit of doing togeth\u00ader on our&nbsp;islet.<\/p>\n<p>The work of the future and our phys\u00adi\u00adol\u00ado\u00adgy would also speak for the warmth. We have moved to a&nbsp;ser\u00advice and IT soci\u00adety where a&nbsp;task requires a&nbsp;spe\u00adcial skill to meet a&nbsp;human, will\u00ading\u00adness to work in a&nbsp;team and an abil\u00adi\u00adty to use your cre\u00adativ\u00adi\u00adty. This requires a&nbsp;skill to build and to main\u00adtain warmth. While algo\u00adrithms do part of the brain work, the most human skills such as capa\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty to coop\u00ader\u00adate, to cre\u00adate and to show empa\u00adthy are more impor\u00adtant than ever. Build\u00ading up warmth helps, because it cre\u00adates a&nbsp;feel\u00ading of psy\u00adcho\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal safe\u00adty i.e. a&nbsp;state of body and mind where we are not afraid, instead we trust and feel togeth\u00ader\u00adness. We are being heard. This is the only point, when our brains work opti\u00admal, they are capa\u00adble of being cre\u00adative, being empa\u00adthet\u00adic and to reflect. For exam\u00adple, our mem\u00ado\u00adry works at best, we pro\u00admote the health of our heart and we pre\u00advent stress.&nbsp;Prac\u00adtis\u00ading warmth in a&nbsp;busi\u00adness life is not only fun, it is also respon\u00adsi\u00adble and sen\u00adsi\u00adble in order to cre\u00adate con\u00addi\u00adtions to a&nbsp;prof\u00aditable and wel\u00adfare sup\u00adport\u00ading activity.<\/p>\n<p>Or: The goal to have fun at work is not only a&nbsp;feel\u00ading, it is also sen\u00adsi\u00adble and intelligent.<\/p>\n<p>Since the 90\u2019s the stud\u00adies of psy\u00adcho\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal safe\u00adty have shown that this is what extin\u00adguish\u00ades the top teams. When Amy Edmond\u00adson stud\u00adied top sur\u00adgeons and their teams in her the\u00adsis at the Har\u00advard Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty, the result was baf\u00adfling. The best teams made the most errors. It can\u00adnot be like that. At the end this is prof\u00aditable, also it in the long&nbsp;run.<\/p>\n<p>Also in ISLET\u2019s case the warmth seems to walk hand in hand with the result. After retire\u00adment she had returned to the com\u00adpa\u00adny, this tells some\u00adthing of both sides. I&nbsp;also remem\u00adber well how fol\u00adlow\u00ading the CEO\u2019s exam\u00adple I&nbsp;dared and felt instant free\u00addom to join the cir\u00adcle on the dance floor. Very sel\u00addom I&nbsp;have enjoyed myself so much in a&nbsp;busi\u00adness par\u00adty and gen\u00aduine\u00adly being my spon\u00adta\u00adneous myself. Warm and psy\u00adcho\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal safe\u00adty! Fun and&nbsp;play!<\/p>\n<p>A com\u00adpa\u00adny can leave a&nbsp;mark like this.
