Nev\u00ader\u00adthe\u00adless, the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion and uti\u00adliza\u00adtion of those tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies on a larg\u00ader scale have been so far lim\u00adit\u00aded in the Enter\u00adprise Resource Plan\u00adning (ERP) sys\u00adtems which oper\u00adate enter\u00adpris\u00ades\u2019 core process\u00ades. The lead\u00ading ERP tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy ven\u00addors have done major invest\u00adments for years towards these dis\u00adrup\u00adtive, new tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies by part\u00adner\u00ading, acquir\u00ading com\u00adpa\u00adnies from the field and invest\u00ading for their own new tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy devel\u00adop\u00adment resources.<\/p>\n

SAP pub\u00adlished their strat\u00ade\u00adgy to become the first hands-free ERP solu\u00adtion enabling 50% of busi\u00adness process\u00ades to be auto\u00admat\u00aded. To speed up with their goal SAP has acquired com\u00adpa\u00adnies in the past years. For exam\u00adple, in the begin\u00adning of 2018, SAP acquired Recast\u200b.AI<\/a><\/strong>, which con\u00adcen\u00adtrates on devel\u00adop\u00ading nat\u00adur\u00adal lan\u00adguage pro\u00adcess\u00ading capa\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties and three months ago they acquired Con\u00adtex\u00adtor<\/a><\/strong>, which is one of the Euro\u00adpean lead\u00aders in the design and inte\u00adgra\u00adtion of robot\u00adic process automa\u00adtion (RPA) solu\u00adtions. SAP aims also to ease SAP and non-SAP sys\u00adtems inte\u00adgra\u00adtion. To meet this goal SAP will merge Con\u00adtex\u00adtor inno\u00adva\u00adtions to the already exist\u00ading SAP Leonar\u00addo machine learn\u00ading frame\u00adwork. With the help of Con\u00adtex\u00adtor inno\u00adva\u00adtions, SAP is plan\u00adning to auto\u00admate half of its busi\u00adness process\u00ades dur\u00ading the next three years.<\/p>\n

The direc\u00adtion is inter\u00adest\u00ading as there has been already for some years an ongo\u00ading dis\u00adcus\u00adsion of expo\u00adnen\u00adtial accel\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion of speed. The increased automa\u00adtion will accel\u00ader\u00adate the busi\u00adness func\u00adtions and bring sev\u00ader\u00adal oth\u00ader ben\u00ade\u00adfits. Yet it feels like prac\u00adti\u00adcal deploy\u00adments and their ben\u00ade\u00adfits have been drag\u00adging behind the actu\u00adal needs. There are sev\u00ader\u00adal prac\u00adti\u00adcal imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtions that have been deployed but typ\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly those have been put into prac\u00adtice for quite sim\u00adple or lim\u00adit\u00aded areas as point-to-point deploy\u00adments. The nature of these imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtions has also been more exper\u00adi\u00admen\u00adtal-like for many if we look at the more con\u00adser\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive end of IT-field \u2013 the enter\u00adprise resource plan\u00adning. From the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion point of view the chal\u00adlenge is often to con\u00adnect var\u00adi\u00adous old\u00ader tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy envi\u00adron\u00adments to new inno\u00adva\u00adtions. Dif\u00adfer\u00adent tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy ver\u00adsions are not sup\u00adport\u00aded by one anoth\u00ader and there\u00adfore all the ben\u00ade\u00adfits from new tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies are not eas\u00adi\u00adly to be reused by larg\u00ader audiences.<\/p>\n

The time is ready from the enter\u00adprise resource plan\u00adning stand\u00adpoint. The ERP tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy ven\u00addors togeth\u00ader with their imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion part\u00adner ecosys\u00adtems are invest\u00ading heav\u00adi\u00adly on new grow\u00ading tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies. ISLET has also grown its know-how and deliv\u00adery capa\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties on data sci\u00adence, AI, robot\u00adics and machine learn\u00ading.
