Kuo\u00adpio City, the health care dis\u00adtrict of North\u00adern Savo\u00adnia and Ser\u00advi\u00adca have been active users of SAP Enter\u00adprise Resource Plan\u00adning sys\u00adtems for many years. Islet is in charge of the SAP sys\u00adtem main\u00adte\u00adnance and con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adous devel\u00adop\u00adment. When Servica\u2019s func\u00adtion\u00adal devel\u00adop\u00adment needs for their cen\u00adtral ware\u00adhouse became cur\u00adrent, Islet was a clear choice for imple\u00adment\u00ading the devel\u00adop\u00adment because of Islet\u2019s pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal com\u00adpe\u00adtence and the cus\u00adtomer trust and knowl\u00adedge built with\u00adin the long relationship. <\/span><\/p>\n In 2015, after a SAP ver\u00adsion upgrade, Ser\u00advi\u00adca renewed its ware\u00adhouse col\u00adlect\u00ading process with Islet by imple\u00adment\u00ading Lean Ware\u00adhouse process\u00ades and a sim\u00adpli\u00adfied user inter\u00adface done with SAP Screen Per\u00adsonas tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy. The new user inter\u00adface works on mod\u00adern tablet based col\u00adlect\u00ading devices. Ser\u00advi\u00adca had three clear goals for the devel\u00adop\u00adment: to increase the effi\u00adcien\u00adcy in col\u00adlect\u00ading, to broad\u00aden the sup\u00adply chain man\u00adage\u00adment and to devel\u00adop the report\u00ading and logis\u00adtics. An impor\u00adtant part of the project was to map cur\u00adrent process\u00ades and to opti\u00admize them by remov\u00ading all unnec\u00ades\u00adsary phas\u00ades by apply\u00ading Lean-methodology. <\/span><\/p>\n The advan\u00adtages of imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of Screen Per\u00adsonas and Lean ware\u00adhouse man\u00adage\u00adment-process have been obvi\u00adous and are clear\u00adly seen on the dai\u00adly oper\u00ada\u00adtions of Servica\u2019s ware\u00adhouse. The results are vis\u00adi\u00adble on every lev\u00adel, as the time spent on col\u00adlect\u00ading has been reduced by almost 25 per\u00adcent. The reli\u00ada\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty of deliv\u00ader\u00adies has improved remark\u00adably and the induc\u00adtion of new employ\u00adees is eas\u00adi\u00ader. More\u00adover, Servica\u2019s ware\u00adhouse became paperless. <\/span><\/p>\n The project exe\u00adcut\u00aded with Islet was effi\u00adcient and flex\u00adi\u00adble and it was done with\u00adin a short time frame. As a long term SAP part\u00adner, Islet was already famil\u00adiar with customer\u2019s process\u00ades and there\u00adfore the col\u00adlab\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtion was easy. Ser\u00advi\u00adca trust\u00aded Islet\u2019s exper\u00adtise and the way of work\u00ading in keep\u00ading the agreed dead\u00adlines.
