We are an excep\u00adtion\u00adal IT com\u00adpa\u00adny in many ways, accord\u00ading to Tivi.<\/span> Two main rea\u00adsons are that our oper\u00ada\u00adtional man\u00adage\u00adment has been always run by women and we made a suc\u00adcess\u00adful change of gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion in 2015, both of what are rare among the infor\u00adma\u00adtion tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy businesses. <\/span><\/p>\n Mar\u00adjari\u00adit\u00adta Wakko\u00adla found\u00aded ISLET and this year we are cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00ading our 20-year anniver\u00adsary. Marjariitta\u2019s long and ver\u00adsa\u00adtile career has giv\u00aden a strong foun\u00adda\u00adtion for the fam\u00adi\u00adly com\u00adpa\u00adny to become a suc\u00adcess\u00adful business.<\/span><\/p>\n Before start\u00ading BPS Con\u00adsult\u00ading Fin\u00adland (now ISLET), she worked as an entre\u00adpre\u00adneur in cloth\u00ading retail, Finan\u00adcial Man\u00adag\u00ader as well as an IT Man\u00adag\u00ader. She was intro\u00adduced to SAP<\/a><\/strong> tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies while work\u00ading at Gov\u00adern\u00adment Pro\u00adcure\u00adment Cen\u00adter (Hansel), where she was lead\u00ading Finland\u2019s first SAP imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion project in 1996. After the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion, she moved to SAP Fin\u00adland where she got the idea to start her own com\u00adpa\u00adny. This is how BPS Con\u00adsult\u00ading Fin\u00adland (now ISLET) was start\u00aded in 1998.<\/span><\/p>\n The suc\u00adces\u00adsion in fam\u00adi\u00adly com\u00adpa\u00adny start\u00aded in 2015, when twins Jan\u00adi\u00adna <\/a><\/strong>and Tom\u00admi Luo\u00adto<\/a><\/strong> bought the busi\u00adness and start\u00aded in oper\u00ada\u00adtional man\u00adage\u00adment. Active role in the fam\u00adi\u00adly busi\u00adness was not in their ear\u00adly career plans: Tom\u00admi focused on sports, with a goal to become a pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal foot\u00adball play\u00ader, while Jan\u00adi\u00adna worked hard abroad. Three years ago, the idea of con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00ading their mother\u2019s work as a tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy pio\u00adneer in fam\u00adi\u00adly busi\u00adness, was clar\u00adi\u00adfied for both.<\/span><\/p>\n The ground\u00adbreak\u00ading change in SAP tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies was one of the inspir\u00ading fac\u00adtors behind the suc\u00adces\u00adsion. SAP\u2019s new S\/4HANA<\/strong> <\/a>tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy has rev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion\u00adized the world of SAP solu\u00adtions. In the new S\/4HANA solu\u00adtion, the busi\u00adness log\u00adic and user inter\u00adface have gone through a major trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion. More\u00adover, com\u00adpo\u00adnents of arti\u00adfi\u00adcial intel\u00adli\u00adgence have been added to the sys\u00adtem. The two entre\u00adpre\u00adneurs believe that the broad and deep knowl\u00adedge and exper\u00adtise foun\u00adda\u00adtion enables the devel\u00adop\u00adment of new and inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive solu\u00adtions in the future with SAP technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n One of the main suc\u00adcess fac\u00adtor for ISLET has been the strong com\u00adpe\u00adtences and clear focus on the core know-how. More\u00adover, the con\u00adcept of car\u00ading is a key to suc\u00adcess\u00adful busi\u00adness and it is built into the company\u2019s val\u00adues. The orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion respects and val\u00adues every\u00adone who is involved in their ecosys\u00adtem: cus\u00adtomers, team mem\u00adbers, part\u00adners as well as com\u00adpeti\u00adtors. Sus\u00adtain\u00adable busi\u00adness, for future gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtions and for the earth, can only be made with car\u00ading and empathy.<\/span><\/p>\n
