Pio\u00adneer in Tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy Indus\u00adtry<\/strong> \u2013 Mar\u00adjari\u00adit\u00adta Wakkola<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Since the begin\u00adning, Islet was a pio\u00adneer in diverse think\u00ading and work\u00ading in the tech world. Islet Group was found\u00aded in 1998 by Mar\u00adjari\u00adit\u00adta Wakko\u00adla. Back then we were known as BPS Con\u00adsult\u00ading\u2009\u2014\u2009BPS stands for Busi\u00adness Process\u00ades and Solu\u00adtions. BPS Con\u00adsult\u00ading was one of the first local com\u00adpa\u00adnies in Fin\u00adland advis\u00ading and imple\u00adment\u00ading SAP solu\u00adtions for Finnish com\u00adpa\u00adnies. As a female founder Mar\u00adjari\u00adit\u00adta was a pio\u00adneer in the tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy indus\u00adtry. She start\u00aded the com\u00adpa\u00adny and built it into a sol\u00adid busi\u00adness with sat\u00adis\u00adfied cus\u00adtomers and employ\u00adees and estab\u00adlished a good rep\u00adu\u00adta\u00adtion in the mar\u00adket. In the fol\u00adlow\u00ading years, she was also one of the founders of BPS\u2019 daugh\u00adter com\u00adpa\u00adnies in Hun\u00adgary and the Baltic coun\u00adtries. Still today Islet has a strong team in Hun\u00adgary sup\u00adport\u00ading cus\u00adtomers in many fields. Mar\u00adjari\u00adit\u00adta led BPS for the first 17 years with her pas\u00adsion and ded\u00adi\u00adca\u00adtion to cus\u00adtomer excel\u00adlence, help\u00ading orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtions with SAP\u2019s enter\u00adprise resource plan\u00adning solu\u00adtions. In Octo\u00adber 2015, a fam\u00adi\u00adly busi\u00adness suc\u00adces\u00adsion took place and the sec\u00adond gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion, Jan\u00adi\u00adna Luo\u00adto and Tom\u00admi Luo\u00adto, took the com\u00adpa\u00adny over. Sec\u00adond gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion start\u2009\u2014\u2009Tom\u00admi Luoto<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tom\u00admi Luo\u00adto start\u00aded at Islet in 2008 and has since then worked close\u00adly with tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy and dif\u00adfer\u00adent archi\u00adtec\u00adtures. Nowa\u00addays, as a CTO, he leads the tech\u00adno\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal vision and strate\u00adgic part\u00adner\u00adships on our island. He deep dives into tech\u00adno\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal ocean\u00adic ecosys\u00adtems while scout\u00ading new hori\u00adzons, with our cus\u00adtomers. On the island, Tom\u00admi is known for his sparkling humor, big heart, and straight\u00adfor\u00adward\u00adness. A major mile\u00adstone was reached at Islet in Octo\u00adber 2015, when the fam\u00adi\u00adly busi\u00adness suc\u00adces\u00adsion took place. The 17-year her\u00aditage with great cus\u00adtomers, projects and amaz\u00ading peo\u00adple was a firm bedrock to start build\u00ading the future on. The first tar\u00adget was to piv\u00adot the com\u00adpa\u00adny by invest\u00ading in sales, our peo\u00adple and their com\u00adpe\u00adtences, ser\u00advice & deliv\u00adery mod\u00adels as well as by stream\u00adlin\u00ading inter\u00adnal process\u00ades. The objec\u00adtive was to do a cloud trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion and lead the com\u00adpa\u00adny to a sus\u00adtain\u00adably prof\u00aditable path by grow\u00ading five times big\u00adger in five years. From moth\u00ader to daugh\u00adter\u2009\u2014\u2009Jan\u00adi\u00adna Luoto<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jan\u00adi\u00adna Luo\u00adto, Islet\u2019s respect\u00aded leader, is made of reli\u00ada\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty, vision, inter\u00adac\u00adtion skills, pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty and a big heart. She has acquired her expe\u00adri\u00adence from all over the world \u2013 shores of the North Atlantic Ocean, the Indi\u00adan Ocean and the Per\u00adsian Gulf. The most impor\u00adtant asset to her has always been the peo\u00adple and their well-being.<\/span> In 2015, Jan\u00adi\u00adna start\u00aded as a Chief Oper\u00adat\u00ading Offi\u00adcer and Own\u00ader at Islet and in 2017 as Chief Exec\u00adu\u00adtive Offi\u00adcer, fol\u00adlow\u00ading her moth\u00ader in this role. <\/span> After step\u00adping into the CEO\u2019s role, she high\u00adlight\u00aded three focus areas as the cor\u00adner\u00adstones of future suc\u00adcess: our own peo\u00adple, our cur\u00adrent cus\u00adtomers and sus\u00adtain\u00adable growth. These are still today the bedrock of every\u00adthing Islet does. In 2018, BPS Con\u00adsult\u00ading cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00aded its 20-year anniver\u00adsary. At the anniver\u00adsary gala, a new brand and name were launched. BPS Con\u00adsult\u00ading became Islet Group.
