Islet Group has partnered with Databricks, the lakehouse company, to drive business value by unifying data and artificial intelligence (AI). Services built on Databricks’ Lakehouse Platform will allow our customers to manage all their data, analytics, AI and machine learning use cases on one platform.

Islet’s Data and analytics team has years of experience working with the Lakehouse architecture to create cutting edge data platforms for our customers. We have worked both with “vanilla” Azure based Data Lakehouses as well as with Databricks’ Lakehouse Platform. The Lakehouse approach is an excellent option for many customers, offering a cost-efficient, flexible, and futureproof platform for any data engineering, analytics, BI, data science and machine learning use cases on the horizon.

The Databricks Lakehouse Platform combines the best elements of data lakes and data warehouses, ensuring the reliability, strong governance and performance of data warehouses with the openness, flexibility and machine learning support of data lakes. This unified approach simplifies the modern data stack by eliminating the data silos that traditionally separate and complicate data engineering, analytics, BI, data science and machine learning.

We are very happy to expand our work with Databricks. Islet’s Data and analytics team has had good experiences leveraging Databricks’ latest innovations in our customer projects, so partnering was a natural next step for us. We believe the Lakehouse approach, and especially the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, is a futureproof choice for our customers’ data platform architecture
